We don't have to tell you this 1933 Ford Factory Five Roadster is a complete custom build, because it already screams it from every angle. You see it in the modern matte exterior, driver-oriented A/C interior, performance suspension, five-speed stick, and the powerful 302 V8. So your first impression is that this is the ultimate no compromises build, and as you dig deeper, it only gets better.
First off, you're looking at a body from the masters at Factory Five Racing. And you know they are precision gurus for style and speed. The matte finish is a true classic street machine look. In fact, it has a terrific all-around performance-minded style with the low-dipping grille, frenched taillights, and streamlined body with no handles are pure performance car attitude. Plus, the Factory Five alloy wheels not only add a terrific shine, but also the staggered 17/18-inch size gives this an aggressive stance. Best of all, while this looks awesome as an aerodynamic coupe, the top unbolts so you can choose a sweet roadster profile whenever you want. In fact, when the top is off, this looks even meaner, because everyone sees the race-ready roll bar.

More of this competition style is seen inside. Most of the investments here were all about giving you a performance machine. That means bucket seats with full Simpson five-point racing harnesses, grippy Factory Five sports steering wheel, fire extinguisher, and Hurst shifter. And the dash is dominated by AutoMeter gauges. But as a true modern build, you also have some nice added comforts, including cold-blowing air conditioning, a tilt steering column, and kit for power side windows.
Tilt the hood forward to see a fantastic powerhouse. We love it when these Ford-style machines have proper blue oval power, and this one is really done right. It's a 302 cubic-inch V8 purchased from Ford Racing (a $7,800 investment in 2011.) It inhales deeply with a Holley Street Avenger four-barrel carburetor, and shorty headers add more power while exhaling with a sweet sound out of the dual exhaust. The full package is said to be rated at 340 horsepower, and you get full control over it all thanks to the Tremec five-speed manual transmission. And big power is far from the whole story. Factory Five also builds an outstanding chassis. It's a strong setup on which you have the right suspension components like an independent A-arm front end and a reinforced control arm rear. Add in Wilwood four-wheel disc brakes, electric power steering, and the grip of modern performance tires, and this mean machine is as good at eating up the highway miles as it is eating up the asphalt.
Complete with build receipts and service manuals, this is retro performance with all the right modern equipment. So don't miss out, call today!
