With a cool custom two-tone look, stick shift appeal, and a comfy A/C interior, 1977 Datsun 280Z is a modern fuel injected classic that hits all the right notes. And it does it for a value price.
The first generation Zs like this one have a great European-inspired design that looks like a Jaguar E-Type that went to an Italian finishing school. But this one has a hint of something more. The factory Beige Metallic has been upgraded with a black metallic custom application on the hood. This sinister-side darkness runs the profile as it highlights the sporty curve of the rear quarter windows. And just to make sure the separation of the colors is distinct, there's a maroon pinstripe for a dividing line. It's a very cool and custom look that is furthered by the coordinating black Minilite-style Rota wheels. Even the full-length rub strip and slotted rear sunshade follow this black attitude. And with hints of brightwork on the bumpers, rockers, and wheel trim rings, this is a well-done total package.
These first-gen Z-cars are true driver's machines. You get dual high-back bucket seats with a center console in-between. It's an ergonomic layout with the speedo and tach set into twin ... Please ask for the full description.

These first-gen Z-cars are true driver's machines. You get dual high-back bucket seats with a center console in-between. It's an ergonomic layout with the speedo and tach set into twin round pods directly in front of you, and there's auxiliary dials set up high on the dash. The shifter is perfectly positioned so you always find the right gear. And just to make sure you can really enjoy your time in this Datsun, there are nice upgrades, like an AM/FM/CD stereo w/powered subwoofer and cold-blowing R134a air conditioning.
The fuel-injected 2.8-liter inline-six is a fantastic motor. It's both rev-happy and torquey, which has helped Datsun/Nissan establish its reputation for fun cars. It still has that same baritone wail that epitomizes big-horsepower inline-sixes. The engine bay is as clean as the rest of the car, and in fact, the consignor works for Nissan (so there's extra pride in its ownership.) The fuel injection system was recently serviced, and so the motor fires up readily and runs strong. And you get to enjoy it to the fullest thanks to the control of the four-speed manual transmission. It provides plenty of sports car fun on your favorite roads thanks to the fully independent suspension, power bakes w/discs up front, power steering, and the modern grip of BF Goodrich gForce tires.
This one has everything you want in first-gen Z. It even has a linage that goes right back to Nissan! So at an affordable price like this, don't look twice or this one will be gone. Call today!!!
