The Yenko Camaros are legendary. The '69s in particular are the object of desire for many of us, but they only built 201 of them. That makes the originals worth more than most houses. Why would you want to own one of those and be afraid to actually drive it when you when you could own this superbly built Tribute and feel great about taking it out and letting the horses run?
Presented in Black with White stripes, this car is gorgeous. The paint is super slick with a real nice shine. Making this tribute even a little sweeter is that it is based on an RS with the hideaway headlights and auxiliary driving lights adding a nice touch to the look. The choice of engine gives this car the right to add the SS 427 badge to the grill and there is a deep chin spoiler that says this car means business too, so it's a package that's hard to beat even before the other Yenko touches are added. Those touches however, include the correct stripes on the cowl induction hood with the “sYc” (Yenko Super Car) monogram front and center and the triple white stripe down the side stating it again. The front fender has a red, white and blue Yenko badge just under Camaro in script and another between the ... Please ask for the full description.

Description
AWESOME YENKO CLONE, 427CI POWER, 4 SPEED MANUAL, RS HIDEAWAYS, SUPER STRAIGHT!
Those touches however, include the correct stripes on the cowl induction hood with the "sYc" (Yenko Super Car) monogram front and center and the triple white stripe down the side stating it again. The front fender has a red, white and blue Yenko badge just under Camaro in script and another between the taillights next to the Chevy bowtie. The car sits nicely with a bit of rake to it on graphite colored Eagle alloy wheels.
Open the door and you will find a black interior that looks like new and is mostly stock with a few logical additions related to performance and to the tribute. The door panel is stock and spotless with thin chrome piping outlining it. The seats are nicely pleated with an sYc monogram on the headrests and there is a beefy Grant steering wheel that feels good in your hands. Just to the right of that in a nice wood tone center console is a Hurst short throw shifter for the 4-speed manual transmission that falls easily to hand and just begs to be stirred around. The dash is stock with an aftermarket AM/FM radio but there are auxiliary Sunpro gauges mounted under it for voltage, oil pressure and water temp. A fire extinguisher is mounted beside the console in the passenger footwell, because those are the rules in a race car.
Open the hood and you will find that precious 427 big block engine nestled down in a nicely detailed and well-maintained engine bay. It has a chrome air topper with stickers announcing the 427 along with Turbo Jet 450 HP along the front edge. Below it is a Holley Street Avenger 4-barell carburetor feeding an Edelbrock Performer RPM manifold that has been polished to a high shine. Finned aluminum Yenko 427 valve covers in orange with brushed ribbing reinforce what this car is all about. Hedman headers get the spent gases out and flowing downstream through an x-pipe to Pypes mufflers and give the car an awesome sound in the process. An aluminum radiator with an electric fan keeps things cool. Polished billet pulleys and mounting brackets along with the alternator and power steering pump look sharp and keep the look clean. Power flows back through the 4-speed trans to a 12-bolt rear end, and the rubber meets the road through 215/65R15 tires on those Eagle alloys all around.
Come on down and check out this superbly built tribute to an awesome chapter in Camaro history. Then take it home, take it out, and let those horses run.
