Description

NICELY RESTORED BEL AIR, ZZ4 CRATE MOTOR, 700R4 TRANS, A/C, FRONT DISCS, NICE!

We won't tell if you don't tell! This Bel Air will knock your socks off and it's been moderately used so functionality is also not a problem here. So, here is an opportunity to buy a car with first class airbrush work, tons of chrome, custom details everywhere, and an interior done by the best in the business, at far less than anyone would think. But we won't tell anyone it wasn't built just for you if you don't.

This car is presented in Colonial Cream with a white roof and chrome everywhere. It has all the features that make the '57s so iconic. There is the big chrome bumper up front leading the way with a red, white and blue Chevrolet badge in the middle of the grill and rockets on the hood. Gold Bel Air badging appears where it should on the hood, fenders and trunk, and the chrome moldings down the side of the car shine like new. But subtle custom touches are evident in the tiny parking lights added to the corners of the bumpers and in the racing flags with the Fuel Injection script on the fender that hint at what is under the hood. Of-course the fins are trimmed in the shiny stuff that bends around the back edge and lead down to the rear bumper with dual oval exhaust tips peeking out from underneath it. Chrome 5-spoke mags have polished brake dust shields with 57s cut into them and red, white and blue Chevrolet centers.

Open the door and you will find a very well put together custom interior that was crafted by Steve Holcomb and Tim Amanns at Pro Auto. It is finished in Dark Green leather with a Lecarra wooden steering wheel, a wood grained accent panel across the center of the dash trimmed in chrome, and grass green carpeting underpinning it all. White Dolphin gauges grace the dashboard in an unusual pattern (and a nice touch) with the four engine gauges located in the center with the tach and speedo flanking them. There is a Retrosound FM/cassette player just over the custom center console which has built in CD and cup holders, and a chrome faced multidisc changer sits off to the right. Of-course there are power window and locks, but check out those power leather seats. They are crafted for comfort and have a gold Bel Air stitched into the seam on the back.

Now pop the hood and feast your eyes. It's hard to tell what you will notice first. Let's start with Betty Boop at the Bel Air Diner air brushed onto the hood with a likeness of the car parked out front. Nice work! Or maybe you noticed all the chrome first. Starting up front there is a custom A/C shroud with Bel Air 1957 and a Chevy Bowtie cut into it. Behind it is a polished aluminum radiator with electric fans to keep things running cool along with a chrome radiator support and battery box. Polished and chrome accessories and pulleys almost obscure the fuel injected engine nestled down in the engine bay which is a ZZ4 350 cubic inch V8 backed up by a 700R 4-speed automatic with overdrive. Evidence of the over the top show car build is evident under the bottom which is not only all painted and polished just like the top, but even has Betty Boop airbrushed on to the underside of the gas tank! Talk about detail, who does that?

This car is a beautiful high-end build with lots of custom work that is like a mature pro athlete. It has been around a while, but still has what it takes to win.
