This car is an epic summer adventure in the making. It's the last year that they made a DeVille convertible and it makes a big, classic, Cadillac statement when you roll top down. If you, or you and a few friends are looking for an affordable car with undeniable style to make some memories in, then check this car out. It's not quite show quality (neither is the price tag), but it looks good so come on down and drive it away.

This is a big Red Cadillac with lots of chrome. The hood is massive and proudly leads with a Cadillac badge perched front and center. A V-shaped grill is flanked by quad headlights and underlined by a bumper that follows the contours of the grill and wraps around the sides of the fenders. Those fenders stand tall like the corners of a castle with a sentry posted on the leading edge. As you look down the side from the front, the back seems to fade into the distance. Being a two-door car means that the rear fenders are really long with the rear wheel spats and the chrome strip accentuating the look even more. The top of the fender holds a high line creating a nice fin that ends in triangular taillights that look like they were the inspiration for the design of the Alliance cruisers in Firefly. A simple chrome bumper underlines the massive trunk and dual chrome exhaust tips extend out from underneath it.

Open the door, or just take a look inside if the roof is down, and you will find the sprawling luxury that is what Cadillac was all about back then. The beige interior goes well with the red exterior and it's ready for even more fun in the sun. If the sun gets too hot, no worries. Push the button to put the top up and switch on the air conditioning system that has been upgraded to R134 to cool off. Of-course everything is power operated in this car. Windows, doors, locks, seats, steering and brakes. Wood trims out the door panels and the dash with auxiliary gauges for oil, water and voltage mounted underneath the center.

Powering this car is a 500 cubic inch motor that has some nice upgrades and sits in a nicely dressed out engine compartment. A flat black air cleaner tops things off sitting on top of a Rochester Quadra-Jet 4-barell carburetor. The intake and valve covers have been freshly painted along with the heads and block and look great with the freshly painted inner fenders. It's easy to see the signs of good maintenance in the new hoses and belts as well as the fresh tune up items. There was a new A/C compressor along with the lines and condenser installed during the R134 update, and a new aluminum radiator keeps things running cool on those hot summer cruises. This engine provides plenty of power to move this car out in style sending that power through a 3-speed automatic transmission, and front disc brakes assure that you can get this cruiser hauled back down from speed. The car sits on 235/75R15 tires all around mounted on steel wheels with Cadillac hub caps.

Come on down and check this car out. Throw your bags in the trunk, put your shades on, and head on out for an adventure.
