Hard top, soft top, or no top. You have your options open with this CJ7. It can be your reliable get-around town during the week vehicle with its hard-top for the winter and A/C for the summer, but it's also a get you out of town for some adventures vehicle on the weekends.

The paint on this vehicle will give you a good idea of how well it has been treated and cared for. It still looks sharp. Two tone silver striping runs around the body as well as dressing up the hood a bit. It proudly announces itself as a Laredo on the side of the hood, and it all looks great against the black paint. A bit of chrome dresses it up nicely on the grill and the front bumper, as well as the back bumpers and the wheels. The look will change like the seasons with the hard top and doors on for the winter, (or for the ability to lock it up tight), the soft top for general purposes, or no top for cruising on nice summer nights or playing in the woods. It sits just a little higher than stock partly because of those 33X12.50s mounted on new chrome wheels.

Open the door, climb in and have a seat. If you have the hard doors on, you will enjoy the fact that the door panels are trimmed out nicely. Black paint with a black interior always looks great, and the high back bucket seats are comfortable and supportive. Because of that lift, when you are driving, you can see everything around you better. A leather wrapped steering wheel feels good in your hands and sits in front of a dash that is trimmed out more like a car with a leather padded handle for the passenger and chrome trimmed gauges and switches. The tach is directly in front of the driver with the speedo, fuel, and temperature gauges off toward the center. A/C vents are there to keep you cool and an aftermarket radio/CD player provides the tunes with a a bass driver mounted behind the rear seat. There is black carpeting throughout and between the front buckets is a nice big, lockable, center console with lots of room to stash things.

Pop the hood, and you will find the tried and true 258-cubic inch 6-cylinder engine. There are signs of regular maintenance with newer belts and hoses and it fires right up. Power is sent back through a 5-speed manual transmission, through the 4WD transfer case, to solid axles mounted on leaf springs front and rear. Those springs, along with the shocks have been replaced recently and are part of the reason the truck sits up a few inches over stock. The other reason it sits up a bit is those beefy BFGoodrich Mud Terrain T/A tires that were mounted along with the springs. If you head off road to try out those mud tires, you will appreciate the skid pans protect the transfer case and gas tank. Simple, reliable, proven Jeep CJ running gear.

Come on down and check out this CJ that's ready for anything. Then take it home and take it anywhere you want.
