Description

FRESH 318 V8, A727 AUTO, AMAZING COLOR COMBO, PWR STEER, FRONT DISCS, DRIVES GR8

When you want a speedy pony car, but also looking for true distinction, this 1967 Plymouth Barracuda is just the ticket. With enhanced V8 power, cool color combo, A/C interior, and far rarer sheetmetal than anything from Ford or Chevy, it's the perfect way to fit into any classic car crowd while still standing out from them all.

1967 was the first year for the second-generation, and the fastback styling was revised to look like it was ready to cheat the wind. The body has nice gaps, and the upgrade to black paint gives it some attitude. Plus, the two-piece front end made it look like it was far wider than the Mustang or Camaro. The details of the design were great, too, like the crisp creases along the tops of the fenders, hood louvers, and the unique wide rear panel. Plus, this has been upgraded for an added sport appearance – everywhere from the Formula S badging, to the iconic polished Cragar SS wheels.

Inside the black continues, but what will really grab your attention are the red inserts. Not only does the red on the doors and seats give this hardtop a cool and aggressive upgrade, but you'll love how the cloth on the seats also make it a more comfortable place to spend some time. And speaking of comfort, you've also got more great upgrades, like an AM/FM/CD stereo and cold-blowing R134a air conditioning. The rear seats even fold flat for better storage. But more than just a coddler, this was built for performance. You see/feel it in the driver's high-back bucket seat, center console, classic-style Mopar Tuff steering wheel, and a full factory gauge package w/tach in the middle.

Under the hood is a fresh 318 cubic-inch V8 that the consignor states has only about 2,000 miles on the motor. It looks nice with polished components, a long Mopar air topper, and matching valve covers. But what you'll really like is the added performance from an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor, Edelbrock aluminum intake, and long tube headers that add power while also contributing to the rumble of the dual exhaust. Plus, you have good supporting components, like upgraded pulleys and an aluminum radiator. The Torqueflite A727 three-speed automatic transmission was built for powerful machines like this, and you even have extra bracing in the frame. Plus, with power steering, front disc brakes, and wide BF Goodrich T/As, it provides an all-around fine driving experience.

This Mopar is the ideal mix of power, poise, and distinction, so don't let it slip away. Call today!!!
