HIGH QUALITY BUILD, BUILT 389 V8, M20 4 SPD, R134 AC, PT, PS, PB W/FRNT DISC, A+

Distinction, comfort, and all-out speed. That's what you get with this 1964 Pontiac convertible that has been expertly restored to be a faithful GTO tribute. And with the performance-built V8, four-speed stick-shift, A/C interior, and slick blue exterior, you get the best of it all in one turnkey classic.

You already know that a factory-built first-year GTO convertible is so rare that it rivals some mortgages. And rather than pay a high price for a mid-grade car, take a moment to appreciate where the real investment went into this faithful tribute. As you look over every inch of this convertible, you're going to be hard-pressed to find anything that doesn't look correct for the GTO (and you don't even have to pay us extra to keep your secret.) Plus, people will be too busy marveling at the paint to talk about anything else. The color lives up to its True Blue name by having an outstanding gloss and shine that comes from a nice investment in a professional application. This glossy paint serves as a template to show you just how straight this body really is. But as sinister as this car might appear, there are still plenty of bright spots. The chrome looks amazing on the Wide-Track ... Please ask for the full description.

The chrome looks amazing on the Wide-Track front end, hood vents, all the correct badging, rear bumper, and the rear trim strip that really gives the taillights a nice presence (and that's what most people saw of these anyway!) Plus, those 15-inch American Racing Torq Thrust wheels are a touch everyone loves.

While we love how the white convertible top looks against the white pinstripe, with just the touch of a button, it gets even better. That's because the electric folding roof reveals a stellar blue interior. In fact, the darker blue with lighter blue interior is a truly European touch that really lives up to the grand touring name of the GTO. And while this was originally a gold interior, all the money spent here makes it look like it came this color from the factory... and feels exceptionally fresh because it's far newer. Sit in the low-back bucket driver's seat and grab the woodgrained sports steering wheel. From this view you start to see some very cool features. The machine turned dash console is a hallmark of the GTO, just below it is everything from the factory AM radio to an upgraded auxiliary gauge trio. And we bet you immediately picked up on the iconic Hurst shifter. But the feature we like the most is the modern R134a air conditioning. It means getting to stay cool while looking cool in this droptop.

Pontiac's 389 cubic-inch V8 in the engine bay is what started the muscle car revolution. That's why we like to see it properly dressed in the Pontiac light blue block and shiny valve covers. But the real secret to this car is that it was the personal project of well-respected shop in the Tampa area. That means this motor was professionally rebuilt within the last 5,000 miles with a bored .30 over kit, HEI electronic ignition, aluminum radiator, and a Holley Street Avenger four-barrel carburetor. It's a V8 that fires up readily, and the dual exhaust gives a growl that'll make people think there's a tiger under the hood. This is mated to a Muncie M20 four-speed manual for the best in all-around performance. The same goes for the Positraction rear end running versatile 3.42 gears. Out on the road this one has been upgraded to be a real driver's car with features like new bushings, thick sway bars front & rear, power steering, and front disc brakes.

Not only does this convertible look amazing, but also you get great paperwork like the owner's manual, factory buildsheet, and original warranty card. So you're looking at a speedy Pontiac with all the right features, including modern A/C. That's the kind of full package that appeals to everyone, so you might want to hurry to get at the front of the line for this one. Call today!!!
