The cowl induction hood is held down by hood pins so the engine doesn't try to jump out, and makes for an intimidating view from any angle. There are bold SS stripes, which are always a good look on a muscle car, and with 245/40/ZR17s up front, and 275/40/17s in the rear, it has a wicked stance that says it means business. The chrome back bumper has a blacked out rub strip with an SS emblem on it, in case the person you just blew by was wondering what that was.

Stepping into the interior of this car is like stepping back in time. It is black on black, with a black headliner, and stock except for the three aftermarket gauges that are commonly added in order to keep accurate tabs on the critical functions of water temp, oil pressure, and the charging system. A three spoke aluminum and black steering wheel feels good in your hands, and behind that wheel is a super clean dash panel, topped by a black dash pad, that reminds you of simpler days. SS emblems on the door panels discreetly announce that you are not driving your average Chevy, and a sleek console with a horseshoe shifter is another hint that you might want to buckle up. This is a mid-sized muscle car, not a Pony car. That means that there is ample room for people in the back seat and a big trunk with plenty of room to bring whatever you might want with you.

But let's talk about what makes this car so sweet. The engine. This particular car has a big block 454ci engine that has been warmed over a bit to make even more power than stock, with trick flow heads and long tube headers. The engine compartment is super neat and clean with a chrome air cleaner and master cylinder, billet pulleys, and black valve covers with brushed fins that look just right. A 3 speed TH 400 trans gets all that power headed back to a 12-bolt rear end which tries to put it all on the ground. There are also some nice touches to this car like Wilwood 4-wheel disc brakes, an MSD ignition, and an aluminum radiator with electric fans to keep things cool.

This car is a blast to drive! It also has correct SS boxed rear trailing arms, SS dash, larger front/rear sway bars, and the correct SS steering box which all point to this being a real SS car. You could take it to cruise nights, or take off on a trip with it. Or, you could take it to the strip and cut that ground pounding 454 loose.
