NICE & ORIGINAL 442, 18 INCH BOOS WHEELS, T-TOPS, QUICKLY BECOMING COLLECTIBLE!

Olds wasn't completely out of the performance game in the late 1980s and cashed in on their vintage performance street cred with cars like this 1985 Oldsmobile 442 T-top coupe. Rarer than its turbo cousins over at Buick, it's a fun example of blending luxury and V8 muscle. So when you can find one well-maintained and accurate, it's time to strike while the pricing is so affordable.

The quality of the sheetmetal tell you it has been treated special since day one. Plus, the two-tone gray is a great way to showcase the premium side of Olds. It's the multi-tone yellow dividing line running around the entire car and subtle 442 decals give it a menacing look without doing a lot of shouting. The same goes for the body-colored bumpers and nicely integrated rear spoiler that look great even 30+ years later. They de-chromed the 442 a bit compared to its Cutlass siblings, so the full impression is a bit sleeker and modern than any regular Cutlass out there. And this point is driven home further by modern 18-inch Boss wheels what fit nicely with the overall color scheme.

You can tell from the first impression that the interior has been cared for correctly. When you sit down in the cloth bucket ... Please ask for the full description.

NICE & ORIGINAL 442, 18 INCH BOOS WHEELS, T-TOPS, QUICKLY BECOMING COLLECTIBLE!

When you sit down in the cloth bucket seat, its comfort and support make you instantly aware of this Oldsmobile's luxury and performance dual purpose. This 442 came loaded with features like power windows, tilt wheel, power locks, center console, and cruise control. The stereo has been upgraded to a Blaupunkt AM/FM/CD stereo with an amplified speaker system, so you'll love taking out the T-tops and blasting the tunes. And when you do, the factory air conditioning is there to keep you cool.

Oldsmobile performance amounted to their rugged and torquey 307 cubic-inch V8, which it turns out is virtually indestructible. Fortified with a four-barrel carburetor and rumbling dual exhaust pipes, it provides the kind of old-school muscle that few others offered in the '80s. The engine bay looks quite correct with its dual intake air intake, shiny air topper, and all those factory decals. Plus, there has been good maintenance with items like fresh belts. The 200-4R four-speed automatic transmission with overdrive is a great traveling partner on long highway trips. In fact, this one has other great features for both cruising and performance driving such as power steering and front disc brakes.

Complete with owner's manual, this is a well cared for 442. A coupe with that mixes this kind of rarity and affordability always creates desirability. So you better call today to snag this muscle Olds!
