Under the hood is the famous 396 cubic-inch big block. This is the original motor to the car, and so they made sure to present it correctly. That's why you'll love the details, like the smooth fender walls, classic top battery, and even the correct windshield fluid refill bottle mounted inside. The block looks quite bold, and there's a hint of flair on the ribbed valve covers that proudly announce this big block's displacement. The V8 fires up readily and it inhales deeply from the correct Quadrajet four-barrel carburetor. It exhales with authority out of the upgraded X-pipe dual exhaust. Out on the road, the three-speed automatic transmission, power steering, power brakes, and nice investment in the suspension keep this a great cruiser.
