BUILT 540CI DART BLOCK, ELECTRIC RS HEADLIGHTS, SINISTER BLACK, STRONG RUNNER!
Premium, vintage, upgraded, and powerful... this 1969 Chevrolet Camaro RS/SS makes all the right first impressions. So with it's the midnight stalker appearance, iconic houndstooth interior, and huge performance-built 540ci V8, this coupe has you in love/lust at first sight.
This is a mean machine that instantly grabs all your attention... and it's just the setup for the total package. The black paint has all the right modern gloss and shine to highlight the added curves Chevy gave the F-body in '69. The ivory double sport stripe package is an icon for the Camaro, and it provides the perfect contrasting color to ensure this muscle machine is memorable day or night. It has all the right aggressive touches for a '69, including the front air dam, cowl induction hood, and ducktail spoiler. And the Rally Sport blacked-out grill with hidden headlights is exactly what you want on a street-eating Camaro. But there's also a lot more to this one's appeal. The brightwork looks fantastic on everything from the mirror-like rear bumper, to the delicate trim that seems to be in all the right places. It's the perfect mix of aggressive and vintage, and it all comes together perfectly on the American Racing Torq Thrust wheels.
Inside, one of the first things you'll notice is that the houndstooth bucket seats – a hallmark of these classics – have been restored to factory fresh condition. It also isn't a premium Camaro without the center console. And the iconic horseshoe shifter is a cool piece to hold on to even if you're not trying to bang your own way through the stout three-speed automatic. As you slip behind the Corvette three-spoke steering wheel, you'll spot Bosch auxiliary gauges and a large tach on the steering column.
Grab your sunglasses before showing off the engine bay. That because we dare you to find another component that can be polished under the hood. But while it has a show-worthy shine, our real love for this one is that this bright presentation hides a massive 540 cubic-inch big block V8. And more than just displacement this was fortified to be a true monster motor. The build started with a Dart block and added 330 heads, stainless rockers, a hydraulic roller camshaft, a strong 4340 crankshaft, and much more – we have a receipt from the build for over $8K! This V8 inhales deeply through a Quick Fuel four-barrel carburetor, and it exhales with thunderous authority out of the long tube headers that feed the dual exhaust. As you look over the undercarriage photos you're going to see a clean presentation that says there was a solid investment in this Camaro. Plus, you'll spot great features like front disc brakes and thick sway bars front & rear. And more than just a pure power Camaro, it also has thoughtful features like power steering and an aluminum radiator w/dual electric fans to keep everything running cool.
This is the kind of Camaro for those who like to be seen, heard, and envied. If you're not timid, it's time for you to call today!
