VERY RARE SERIES II W/ PLENTY OF DOCS!! 454 V8, TH400, 4 WHEEL DISCS, GR8 DRIVER

Amazing distinction meets absolute rarity with this 1972 Excalibur Series II Roadster. And while you're already stunned that something this distinct is also so affordable, don't forget to check out the performance car pieces like the big block V8 and fully independent suspension.

The Excalibur marque is truly a great American affair as celebrated stylist Brooks Stevens brought together components to make a neo-classic Mercedes SSK. He didn't cut corners, and that's why you have genuine exterior exhaust ports, tubular chrome bumpers, and genuine wire wheels with central locking nut. In fact, there were possibly as few as only 65 examples built in 1972. And the number gets even smaller when narrowed down to these SS models that had the long flowing fenders. There's a true sense of style on this one that comes from all the details like the dual fender-mounded spare wheels and the additional horns up front. Red is always a nice color to have on such a standout machine, and all the black pinstriping is particularly nice, because it coordinates with the black roof and side curtains when they are in place.

The exterior pinstripe is also a nice paring with the full black interior. And ... Please ask for the full description.

And let's face it, a car like this was meant to open to the world. Unlike the imitators, the Excalibur made sure you were kept in comfort. You get two deeply bolstered leather bucket seats with nice red piping, and the Series II featured a longer wheelbase for better comfort. There are more comfort features like a tilt steering column, power steering, AM/FM radio, and provisions for the factory air conditioning. And we know you'll love the feeling that comes from slipping behind the special Moto-Lita designed steering wheel – it gives you the tingle of piloting something very special.

This is the right year to own an Excalibur. Not only did you get the longer wheelbase for better grand touring comfort, but also 1972 was the first year they offered big block power. They were able to fit Chevrolet's 454 cubic-inch V8 inside this classic body. In fact, the motor is believed to be original to the car. More than just its history, the big V8 inhales deeply through a proper Quadrajet four-barrel carburetor to make some terrific power and torque. This was borrowed from the Corvette, and they also fitted its rear end to make this a fully-independent suspension sports car. This even has four-wheel disc brakes. So it this is starting to sound like a classic car that would be great for the open road, then you'll also love that the TH400 three-speed automatic transmission was rebuilt in 1999 (about 1,200 miles ago.)

The sale comes complete with owner's manual, service manuals, maintenance records, and even a letter from Excalibur to the original owner. This is the rare, powerful, and unique machine that is always a conversation starter. So at this affordable price you know it's a deal that will be moving quickly. Call today!!!
