273 V8, AUTO, PS, FRONT DISCS, MAINTENANCE RECORDS, SLICK PAINT & CLEAN INTERIOR

The 1966 Plymouth Barracuda is already a distinctive-looking classic, and that was before you saw all the custom work done to this one. With a well-coordinated exterior, new interior, and upgraded V8 power, this is the value-priced classic that's ready to turn heads.

You can instantly tell this is no factory car. The white paint is not only shiny, but it also serves as a canvas for the rest of this custom look. It starts with a matte black hood – a classic feature for competition cars. Plus, the black and red fender stripes make this look like it came straight from the racetrack, too. And the deeply tinted windows add even more dark appeal. There's also a conscious effort to really give this a modern chrome-free appearance, so the bumpers are painted white, all the trim is blacked-out, the 18-inch alloys are black, and they even shaved the door handles. This is a very distinct street machine.

There has been a recent investment in a new interior, and so now it carries the same color theme as the exterior. This looks fresh, clean, and quite mean. The bucket seats have that great low-back classic look, and they feature a comfortable cloth inset for where you sit. Plus, there are ... Please ask for the full description.

Plus, there are provisions for power windows and a stereo. Someone spent some time really getting details right where the center of the dash even has the same red and black stripe as the fenders. And while the interior is nearly as chrome-free as the exterior, they couldn't resist having it on the spokes of the sport steering wheel to really call out to the driver.

The best Barracudas received the 273 cubic-inch Commando V8. It's an important motor to the pony car wars, and so we're happy to see this D-code car have the correct displacement V8 under the hood. In fact, the consignor states this is the original motor. But just like the rest of the car, you can also see someone has invested nicely in the motor. This includes an aluminum radiator, newer hoses, and TTI long tube headers that add power to the motor and thunder to the quad-tip dual exhaust. Add in a three-speed automatic transmission, power steering, front disc brakes, and grippy modern tires, and this is great performance classic with some steady moves.

Complete with maintenance records, this is a cool custom offered for a value price. Don't miss this Mopar. Call today!!!
