This custom 1965 Ford Falcon is nothing but great surprises from every angle. Exceptionally shiny on the outside, amazingly plush on the inside, and a thumping Boss 302 V8 under the hood all make this restomod the most unique coupe you'll see at even triple the price.
The deep sparkle in this maroon paint is unmistakable even from far away. When you take this to the car show, the sunlight will turn this candy red color into a beacon for everyone to come and take a look. There's plenty of great 60s-style chrome on the grille and bumpers, but brightwork that everyone will really be taking a look at are the wide 15x8-inch Cragar wheels. The front fenders even had to be professionally widened to fit them, which adds to this coupe's aggressive appearance. In fact, performance is really in the details of this one. Just look at the Futura accent line that's now painted gold. It not only looks like an arrow pointing this Falcon forward, but it also matches the custom writing on the fenders and trunklid.

The "Thunder Rolls" text on the rear is a nice little hint to what you'll see when you open the door. That's because the entire interior of a 1984 Thunderbird has been transplanted into this vintage Falcon. This includes everything from Ford's plush coupe; even the crushed red velvet velour seats that now have custom gold Falcon embroidery. Because the interior is borrowed from a luxury cruiser, you get plenty of features, such as air conditioning, power seats, AM/FM/cassette stereo, and the Thunderbird's cool digital speedometer. But just so you don't forget that this is a true performance car, there's a chrome B&M sports shifter for the driver to hold at all times.
One peek under the hood, and you'll realize this restomod is also a prostreet machine. You're looking at a Boss 302 borrowed straight from 1970 Mercury Cougar Eliminator. It was rebuilt 12,500 miles ago with added performance goodies such as a B&A Street Boss intake, roller lifters, roller rockers and roller camshaft, MSD ignition, and TRW Racing pistons. The total output is now pegged around 400 hp. But the improvements did not end there. This is backed up by a custom reinforced frame and a coilover suspension with tubular A-arms up front. Power is nothing without control, and so this Falcon has four-wheel disc brakes, grippy Goodyear Eagle GT tires, and even the battery was moved to the trunk for better weight distribution. But as intimidating as this Falcon is (and trust us, the exhaust note will scare off lesser cars,) it does fine on the streets. This is a power steering car with a stout AOD four-speed automatic transmission. So it has the right features to be a Saturday night intimidator and a Sunday morning cruiser.
This is a custom built Falcon with so many performance upgrades than we don't even have the space to list them all here. But give us a call and we'll tell you everything, or stop by and we'll show you the full restoration photo book. Back in the early 80's, well before this car was even restored, the state of Florida did assign it a rebuilt title status. Even so, it's an amazing coupe you can pick up for lees than the price of building it yourself.
