VERY NICELY RESTORED Z/28, LOTS OF CORRECT PARTS, CORRECT COLOR COMBINATION

There are a million reasons to love the 1969 Camaro, but this cool white Z/28 takes them all and adds a bunch of performance to the mix. Beautifully restored, highly detailed, and yes, it's a real code X77 Z/28 with a DZ-coded engine, so it definitely deserves your attention.

White cars often get overlooked, but when they look as good as this code 50 Dover White Z, folks tend to take notice. I've always felt that the '69 Camaros look especially good in white, and with the cowl induction hood and black SS stripes, the effect is spectacular. The guy who ordered it originally obviously had some good taste, as there's just no way something like this would be ordered by a dealer for resale, and that makes it especially cool. The restoration is very high-quality, with a fantastic shine to the finish and super straight bodywork befitting a car of this caliber. It was restored just the way it was delivered, which includes oversized bumper guards but no shiny wheel moldings or gill inserts, giving it a bold monochromatic look. And speaking of the bumpers, they're beautifully chromed so they sparkle against the shiny white paint. This is a really impressive car.

The white and black theme continues ... Please ask for the full description.

The white and black theme continues inside with sparkling new white upholstery anchored by black carpets and dash. The whole effect is striking and you'll almost be afraid to climb into those beautiful bucket seats. It has the optional center console with auxiliary gauges, which are popular today for all the right reasons, and while the 4-speed currently wears a cue ball knob, the original chrome ball is included with the car. The gauges, including a correct AC tach, are probably original and in very good condition, but it appears that just about everything else is new, including the door panels and headliner. And yes, this car came with radio delete, so that's how it was restored and it's always kind of cool to see it, especially in a car built for combat. And the restoration was quite thorough, with a fully restored trunk carrying a reproduction mat and a full-sized spare tire with jack assembly.

The Z/28's 302 cubic inch V8 really needs no introduction, and this is a correct DZ-code block that's been detailed for show. From the cowl induction setup to the oversized pulley on the alternator, it has all the right parts to make this a winner just about anywhere it goes. Reproduction hoses and correct tower clamps, Chevy Orange paint, and factory intake manifold give it an authentic look, along with the handsome finned valve covers that were a Z/28 trademark. Nice to see standard cast iron exhaust manifolds still in place, and they feed a correct reproduction exhaust system with transverse muffler. A Muncie 4-speed manual feeds a durable 12-bolt rear with 3.73s on a Posi, so acceleration is explosive at any speed. The chassis is as highly detailed as the engine bay and correct markings and decals can be found throughout this car, so someone really did their research. Factory Rally wheels look great and carry proper E70-15 Goodyear Polyglas bias-ply tires, as original.

The Z/28 is a smart investment, with values inching up steadily year after year. They're also a blast to drive, embodying the best of the muscle car era and injecting a much-needed dose of handling. With cool colors and options, this unique Z/28 is an awesome find. Call today!
