We often love a car like this 1979 MGB because it's a great value-priced drop-top classic. But when this European classic gets upgraded with an American fuel-injected V8, it goes from a distinct value to an irresistibly unique deal.
This car likes to announce it's something special with all its detail upgrades. After all, this is a final-year model, but it carries the desirable bright chrome bumpers and grille of earlier MGBs. Crystal clear headlights, deleted side trim, and a newer top give this a distinct style. And while a drop-top looks good in red, the updated maroon paint adds a deeper level of sophistication. It's the right kind of finish that never makes you nervous about driving this upgraded classic, and at the same time, it goes well with the tone of the newer 17-inch wheels.
The black roof looks good against the darker maroon paint, and so it's great to see a full black interior underneath. The bucket seats, door panels, center console, and carpeting have the look of more recent investment. You'll also appreciate the little things, like the working clock and plush MG trunk mat. There's even an upgraded stereo system that works by plugging in your iPhone. And the upgraded ... Please ask for the full description.

Crystal clear headlights, deleted side trim, and a newer top give this a distinct style. And while a drop-top looks good in red, the updated maroon paint adds a deeper level of sophistication. And the upgraded wood-rimmed sports steering wheel gives you both a great sports car grip and a clear view to the gauge package.
You know you'll love lifting the hood at car shows just so you can see jaws drop. After all, no one expects to see V8 power in a little MG. This 327 cubic-inch V8 doubles the number of cylinders and basically triples the displacement of the original powerhouse. And the upgrades don't end there. This has MSD Atomic electronic fuel injection, an Edelbrock intake manifold, and a cold air intake. It's also said to have new heads, new lifters, and a new timing chain. There's even an aluminum radiator with an electric fan to help keep it all running cool. Wrapped headers feed into a dual exhaust system that provides so much more rumble than anyone would ever expect to come from a little British roadster, and it will make you want to rev the throttle at every opportunity. A 700R4 four-speed automatic transmission means good gearing and overdrive cruising. Plus, this one is still a sharp handling car thanks to upgrades like the grippy ZR-rated tires and power brakes with Wilwood front discs.
Unique and incredibly fun, this MGB puts you into some very distinguished company all at a very affordable price. Call today!!!
