This 1966 Plymouth Satellite is exactly how you want a vintage Mopar. It has its classic and correct red-on-red style, but you can also see that there has been a solid investment in keeping it nice. And while this was born a V8 machine, you now have a professionally-built 440 V8 to give you a proper big block muscle machine.
Red is always a standout color that makes you take notice. The trim tag tells us it's the factory-correct color, but you can see there has been a quality investment respraying this later in life. That's why you have a high-gloss look that's smooth to the touch. And sharp paint is ideal for this Satellite's sharp-edged styling. The deep luster really seems to let the sunshine show off crisply defined lines on the hood, fender tops, and hardtop profile. Plenty of ornamentation such as body-hugging chrome bumpers, full-length trim, and ornate grille means that nobody will mistake this for anything but an upper-class model. It's a thoughtfully done classic, right down to the details. So you'll like showing off everything from the correct hood ornament to the Mopar road wheels with bright redline tires that match the body.

Description
The interior shows off more of the attractive red style. This was given a nice restoration later in life so that everything from the upholstery to the carpeting feels complete and clean. And just like the exterior, you'll appreciate the details here, like the working courtesy lights and AM radio that's still cranking out tunes. Plus, bucket seats, a center console, floor shift, and an artful thin/grippy steering wheel are the ideal way to experience a premium and powerful classic Plymouth.
When you lift the hood, you can't help but notice how fresh all the components look in the engine bay. This is a 440 cubic-inch V8 that was rebuilt by Ewing Automotive. It was done in 2008, and receipts show it was part of a $16k investment in this coupe. This big block upgrade has your favorite go-fast goodies, like a Holly double-pumper four-barrel carburetor, an Edelbrock intake, and MSD ignition, and an X-pipe dual exhaust. The V8 feeds a stout Torqueflite A727 three-speed automatic transmission that was rebuilt at the same time as the motor. Plus you also have the stopping power of power brakes with upgraded SSBC front discs.
The sale comes complete with the original warranty card, owner's manual, and build receipts. You even have the stock wheels and hubcaps if you want, too. This 440 Mopar hardtop is a combination of cool and mean packaging that's rarely up for grabs. So don't miss your chance, call today!
