Dressed in a high impact shade and wearing an impeccable collection of exterior chrome, this 1957 Chevrolet 3100 is like a ray of classic car sunshine. Expectations are set pretty high when it comes to restored Chevy 3100s. The model is a time-tested favorite among modded truck enthusiasts and for very good reason - it exemplifies vintage Americana on wheels and really lends itself to customization. While as a result we're used to seeing plenty of 3100s worth marveling at, this one definitely delivers handily. Its bright yellow shade is a winner and features some clean and tasteful pinstriping work while serving as a perfect backdrop for the array of chrome it carries - everything from the mint condition grille on back to the tail lights is really looking strong here and the front and rear bumpers are stellar. On all four sides the badging on this Chevy classic is in great shape and, if you were to take a closer look, you'd notice that the exterior alignment is very much on point. The contrast of the ultra-clean Chevrolet lettering framed in its own pinstriping on the liftgate is a nice finishing touch.

You'll find plenty of style waiting inside the doors, with the darkness of the crushed velour bench seat and surrounding leather covered door panels contrasting perfectly with the chrome of the diamond shaped instrument cluster, control knobs, tilting steering column and aftermarket steering wheel. The split bench seating is unusually comfortable and features a fold down armrest with a matching cover. The floor is lined with recently installed carpeting and a pair of Chevy-branded floor mats are in place for protection. That distinctive instrument panel is equipped with a collection of Stewart Warner gauges that all function just as intended behind their crystal clear lenses. An aftermarket climate control system keeps everything nice and comfortable inside the cabin, cooling things off or warming them up as needed through seamlessly installed underdash vents. In back, the bed area is also in great shape and is well protected by a contrasting black tonneau cover with a full size spare on board.

Below the hood, the engine compartment echoes the same, meticulously detailed theme shown by the rest of the truck. A 350 cubic inch V8 sits inside, surrounded by eye-catching billet components and braided hoses, dressed in its own pair of Edelbrock valve covers and chrome pulley system and wearing a 4-barrel Edelbrock carb underneath the compact, open-element air cleaner on top. Farther forward, a sizable aluminum radiator pairs with an electric fan to keep operating temperatures under control, while a Mallory distributor has also been added to optimize ignition. Teaming with a 4-speed manual transmission, the powerplant exhales into a pair of very sharp-looking polished headers. In addition to all the eye candy it carries, this 3100 also offers a very appealing driving experience - it's power steering system has been upgraded, it wears new shocks at all four corners, as well as new leaf spring bushings in front and back for a nice quiet ride. This exceptional pickup cruises on a set of 15" mag wheels with Chevy-branded centers, outfitted with whitewall tires.
