We love a car like this 1976 MG Midget because it was built with driving fun in mind. And with the open-top style, nice updates, and a well-kept powerhouse, it continues the best of a Midget... including the value price.
The Midget seems to be one of those cars that never lost its following. It wasn't too cute or too bold to really even go out of fashion. Instead, it has just held a position as a nice car for fun jaunts. This example has nice body lines and a good gloss on the green to show them off. And the black bumpers and black rockers go nicely with the well-fitting black soft top. Nothing on this is about a fit/finish that's out for awards, and we bet you're a real driver who wants it that way. There are even some fun details that not everyone else gets, like the rear luggage rack and the minilite-style wheels.
The allure of a later Midget like this is that it still gives you big car details. It starts with the nice fit of the folding roof and roll-up windows. It gave his little car far more versatility and usability than earlier small British icons like the Triumph TR3 and Austin Healey Frogeye Sprite. And when you go inside, there's an attractive tan interior waiting for ... Please ask for the full description.

The allure of a later Midget like this is that it still gives you big car details. It starts with the nice fit of the folding roof and roll-up windows. It gave his little car far more versatility and usability than earlier small British icons like the Triumph TR3 and Austin Healey Frogeye Sprite. And when you go inside, there's an attractive tan interior waiting for you. Proper high-back bucket seats, a well-placed shifter for your extended arm, and a full-size wood-rimmed sports steering wheel are also part of this small car's substantial feel. And everything from the plush carpeting to the clean Smiths gauges gives this a quality impression. So we just know you'll love folding back the roof with one hand, twisting the key, and hitting the open road.
These final generation Midgets received the largest motor ever available to these sprightly MGs. The 1493 cc inline-four under the hood produced more torque than the earlier 1275 cc unit, which made it better suited to American tastes. The engine bay has the look of regular maintenance, and the way it runs well reaffirms the feeling of good care. There was a new clutch kit this year, and so you have an even more confident action to the four-speed manual transmission. The light body weight, independent front suspension, and front disc brakes all contribute to the sporting attitude.
The sale comes complete with nice extras like seat covers and spare components. This is the nicely-presented and nicely-priced evergreen driver's classic. So don't miss your chance, call today!!!
