QUALITY BUILD, 350 V8, AUTO, A/C, PWR STEER, PWR FRONT DISCS, GR8 PAINT/BOD/INT!

This is the kind of truck that instantly gets your mind working. You just know how cool you'll look as the only one to show up in a 1938 International Harvester D-2. With a 350 V8, Air Conditioned interior, and exhaust stacks, who knew such distinction could be this affordable?

Make no mistake, this is a full custom build that comes from a singular vision and a serious investment. The D-2 was still new on the scene in 1938. It had a cool Art Deco design, flowing fenders, and a rounded split-window cab. This is the perfect place to start the custom build. That means removing the front bumper, lowering the stance, and setting it all on shiny Foose wheels staggered with an aggressive 17/20-inch front/rear size. And speaking of the rear, the custom flat diamond plate bed and high exhaust stacks pay tribute to International's commercial roots and will be the coolest place to hold a tailgate party. Now hit the whole truck in a shade of black that has a hint of matte for a sinister effect that doesn't lose its sheen. While this is a true unique custom build, International was solidly in third place truck sales for 1938, and so you'll be hard pressed to see another D-2 anywhere you go, ...

While this is a true unique custom build, International was solidly in third place truck sales for 1938, and so you'll be hard pressed to see another D-2 anywhere you go, let alone one this cool.

Inside is a full custom interior that retains much of the International's workman charm, but now updated with plenty of modern conveniences. The black bench seat does a great job of coordinating with the custom door panel and plush black carpet. You'll slip behind the leather-wrapped Lecarra sports steering wheel and peer at the full set of Dolphin gauges. This pickup is built to comfortably get you to your destination, so there's an AM/FM/CD stereo and air conditioning.

Under the hood is a fine replacement for International's six-cylinder, because you now have a trusty Chevy 350 V8. But more than just good power, it has reliable components like an aluminum radiator and electric fan, so this big rig stays cool even in traffic. But that's the practical side. What you really want to know is how the headers feed the glasspacks before exiting out of those tall stacks. Oh yes, this one has some serious presence with its appearance and sound! It also sits so sinisterly low when parked thanks to adjustable airbags in the rear. On the road this feels nice thanks to an independent front suspension and trailing arm rear likely borrowed from a muscle car era Chevy. Add in more great driving features like the TH350 three-speed automatic transmission, power steering, front disc brakes, and the grip of modern Toyo tires, and this a cool looking custom rig that can easily take the long haul.

You've seen the price on this rare, unique, and comfortable custom. But remember, you're not the only one who can't believe how affordable this whole quality custom package is, so hurry up and call today!
