This 1956 Chevrolet 3100 is what you get when you combine a big budget with a passion to create an unforgettable custom pickup. With slick two-tone paint, custom interior, adjustable ride, and a powerful V8, this is the kind of package that will keep you bragging for years to come.
Take a moment to understand what kind of effort goes into looking this stunning. The high gloss silver and blue custom paint has so much clearcoat that you get those softly rounded curves. It also means you would be able to instantly tell the moment one of these panels was out of line. This level of detail is amazing on any vehicle, but it's a miracle to be able to so this with a pickup that probably spent decades as a workman. If you must use this for hardware store runs, there still is utility in this pickup with a blue tough liner sprayed into the rear bed, that's both more stylish, and tougher than the usually varnished wood beds. But beyond just an investment in paint and body, the chrome of the egg crate grille, bumpers, gas cap, door handles, and light surrounds all have been restored to shine like mirrors.
You even get to dial in the attitude of this Chevy by choosing your stance with the adjustable full air ride suspension.
Inside the custom appearance continues. A reshaped, and very comfortable bench seat has been wrapped in custom foam and comfortable multi-gray upholstery. This is repeated on the door cards and kick plates, which coordinates perfectly with the carpeting and the exterior silver paint that's repeated on the dash. The truck's other main color, the exterior blue, matches perfectly with the Dakota Digital gauge setup. So this Chevy keeps a uniform two-tone appearance inside and outside – a nice touch that everyone loves at the car shows. This one has plenty more style with chrome touches on the gearshift, and the custom sports steering wheel with Chevy bow tie in the middle. But not all of its specialty pieces are so obvious. For example, when the head unit for the kickin' AM/FM/CD subwoofer stereo is not in use, its display screen folds neatly back into the dash. Also, the ashtray was re-purposed to house the hideaway controls for the airbag suspension.
Grab you sunglasses before you check out the engine bay. This custom build turned everything they could into chrome (even the firewall is like a mirror!) And anything that couldn't be made shiny was tucked and hidden from public view. But, beneath what should win you awards on appearance alone, lies the heart of a powerful V8. It's a trusty Chevy 350 cubic-inch small-block that has been upgraded with performance goodies such as Edelbrock Performer RPM heads, Edelbrock Performer Air Gap intake, and of course, the bold snorkel air grabber that feeds the Summit four-barrel carburetor. You better believe this full package makes a seriously sweet rumble out of the dual glasspack exhaust. Getting the power to the road is a three-speed TH400 automatic transmission and stout 12-bolt rear end. This one feels great on the road thanks to driver-friendly features such as power steering, slotted & vented front disc brakes, and sticky Dunlop Direzza sport tires wrapped around bold torque thrust-style wheels.
Beautiful, powerful, capable, and loaded with creature comforts, this is the truck that will haul you home plenty of awards. Call today!!
