It's a wheel-to-wheel rolling display of ultra-cool mid-'70s style that's sure to turn heads. This 1975 Oldsmobile Cutlass Hurst/Olds is quite a looker and it's running strong. The sizable original big block under its special edition hood is still acquitting itself nicely and, considering there were so few of these special edition Oldsmobiles made, it's got bona fide collectability value.

Olds already established a track record with Hurst several years before this '75 saw the light of day, as the manufacturer's previous offerings of Hurst components in their 442s had met with consistent success. Olds marked the midpoint of the decade by equipping this Cutlass with some distinctive styling cues, including special edition badging and gold body accents running the lengths of its sides, both of which are in very good condition. Additional aesthetic touches coming by way of this partnership include a custom hood ornament, as well as the stylish louvres gracing the long hood. There were only about 1200 Hurst Olds decked out in Cameo white ever made, and the color is well represented here, showing a nice, consistent pigmentation from front to back. The original steering wheel still sits on its tilting column, while just beyond it the dash area is another strong point, with clear functional gauges in its instrument cluster and a pair of woodgrain accents that appear to have been recently applied. Comfort features include air conditioning, as well as power windows and power door locks. The trunk area in back is as tidy as can be, with a full size spare and jack resting on its floor.

In addition to its undeniable stylishness, this Hurst/Olds is a very solid driving classic.
