Resto mods are not just for muscle cars. This 1972 Chevrolet Suburban has been rebuilt with every nut and bolt, so that it remains vintage on the outside, but never leaves you wanting for a modern convenience.
Chevrolet never made a Suburban SS at the factory, but if they had, it would look exactly like this. The beautiful bright red paint, the custom cowl induction hood, the unique SS inspired white striping that matches the roof, and the Torq Thrust wheels... all of these are cool touches you've never seen before on a classic Suburban. The details make it a head-turner, but the amazing condition of this vintage people hauler is what really draws them in. This could have been a workhorse, but we'll never know because the restoration was so meticulous to erase any industrial past. Plus, there's nothing cooler than watching a gawkier discover for the first time that there is only one second row door on the passenger side.
Step inside and you'll instantly see how much custom work went into this Chevy. The first thing you'll notice is the Suburban interior with a very interesting twist. This is from a late model Suburban, so the leather seats benefit from decades of comfort ... Please ask for the full description.

Description
This is from a late model Suburban, so the leather seats benefit from decades of comfort enhancements. There's cruise control, power steering, a tilt wheel, cold-blowing air conditioning, and a seriously thumping AM/FM/CD/iPod stereo system. The head unit for this radio also houses the latest technology such as satellite navigation and the screen for the backup camera. The builders left a touch of original style amongst all these upgrades in interesting places like the door panels and all-steel dashboard. Its huge 127-inch wheelbase is enough to carry friends, family, and all the toys (there's even a trailer hitch behind the license plate), but even with this cavernously comfy interior, there is plenty of evidence of a performance machine. The driver has a B&M shifter to rest the right hand, and a woodgrain three-spoke steering wheel for the left. Beyond that is a full gauge package to keep an eye on everything going on under the hood.
The performance image continues in the engine bay. Within all that shiny chrome is a fuel-injected 350 cubic-inch Ram Jet V8 straight from GM Performance. Not only does this powerhouse have only about 2,200 miles on it, but also it has been given upgrades like a performance air cleaner, Headman headers, and a sweet sounding Flowmaster dual exhaust with performance H-pipe. This is mated to a four-speed from Jasper Transmissions to make sure this Suburban can handle the power while still being a comfortable cruiser. And that's how you should see this one – powerful but usable everyday. These Suburbans were known for their ride comfort back in the day, and to make sure this one keeps that reputation it has been given a full air ride suspension. It also has a nice loud train horn integrated with the air...for added fun. The package is topped off with disc brakes up front and modern Bridgestone Dueler H/L tires.
This is truly the best of both worlds. On one hand it's a classic Suburban that comes with interesting goodies like original service manuals. The other side is thoroughly modern machine that has the restoration receipts, maintenance records, and even a diagnostic hookup to prove all its upgrades. Don't let this one-of-a-kind super Chevy slip through your fingers. Call today!!
