Everything from the hood scoop to the ultra-wide rear tires instantly tells you this 1967 Chevrolet Chevy II Nova Pro Street is built for speed. And everything from the performance-built V8 to the roll cage interior proves that this Chevy is not going to disappoint.

We already know this one is taking advantage of the Nova's light weight to make a great speed machine. But this is a true racecar, and so it goes on a serious diet. So the chrome bumpers are swapped for painted lightweight fiberglass. And the mean-looking lift-off cowl hood is fiberglass, too. Many builds use fiberglass for the trunk, but the metal here gives you a solid mounting for the functional rear wing setup (done in lightweight aluminum.) And the side windows are now fixed Lexan to get rid of the heavy glass and crank components. It makes for a mean but purposeful car - exactly what you want in a racer. And so that theme is seen throughout this Chevy. The paint is a deep and intimidating black that carries the look of blacktop battles. And within this full dark package, the bright wheels love to show off the proper small tire setup that gives you true Mickey Thompson drag ties tucked into the rear.

The clean ... Please ask for the full description.

Description

370 V8, 3 SPEED AUTO, FORD 9", COILOVERS, DISC BRAKES, KIRKEY BUCKETS, ROLL CAGE

The clean black interior shows off more of that careful setup for serious substance. It starts with a full custom roll cage that's NHRA 8.50 approved. There are also Kirkey bucket seats, RaceQuip full harnesses, and the trunk custom crafted with the fuel cell and battery box. The equipment is professional-grade with a detachable steel steering wheel, a B&M Pro Ratchet shifter, toggle switches mounted to the cage, and a full dash dominated with AutoMeter gauges - including the large top-mounted tach with shift light.

A true beast lives under the hood. This is a 350 cubic-inch V8 enlarged to 370 ci total. It has been given the right go-fast goodies, like aluminum heads, an air gap intake, and topped with a massive Holley 1050 four-barrel carburetor. A wicked set of headers adds even more power while feeding the rather straight pipes of the big dual exhaust. This power package also has the right supporting components, including an MSD billet distributor, Jegs throttle bracket, finned Edelbrock valve covers, and an aluminum radiator with an electric fan. This is a monster motor, and you have a proper way to harness it with the stout TH400 three-speed automatic transmission featuring a 4500 stall converter and trans brake. The engine bay also hints at the overall strength of the car. The race cage extends through the firewall and onto the frame, and the chassis is nicely reinforced. There's also a tubular A-arm front suspension, a 9-inch rear, adjustable coilovers, rack & pinion steering, and four-wheel disc brakes.

The sale comes complete with build receipts and maintenance records. This is a serious power package wrapped around true classic style. So don't miss this deal. Call today!!!
