Some of the coolest retro-mods come from a second generation Camaro build, like this 1973 Chevrolet Camaro. This F2 comes equipped with some great hardware and subtle custom touches to make it a knock out ride that will drop jaws, and turn heads whether you take it to your local test-n-tune, or cruise-in.
It's easy to find a "look at me" color to spray on a car like this that demands such attention, but the purple hue that was expertly applied to this sheet metal is quite understated. It's just enough to stand out with a finish that rivals some of today's new cars. The paint looks great and is easy to imagine a coat like this adorning the panels of an exotic sports car. Up front, there is a cowl hood that provokes a sinister presence. The Z/28 fascia with chrome split bumper enhances that look, while the side marker lights were removed, front valence seams have been filled and smoothed, and the rear valence has been radiused for the dual exhaust tips. That menacing stance sits on staggered 17'' front and 18'' rear American Racing Torque Thrust wheels.
Inside are more custom touches with the main feature coming from the custom seats wrapped in soft two-tone black and white leather. There ... Please ask for the full description.

Some of the coolest retro-mods come from a second generation Camaro build, like this 1973 Chevrolet Camaro.
There is a full length center console that is accented with faux carbon fiber and includes a convenient storage compartment under the arm rest. In front of that console is a Magellan GPS screen that sits underneath the Sony AM/FM/CD player with satellite radio capability. The driver faces an array of Auto Meter Pro-Comp Ultra Lite gauges that monitor fuel level, engine revs, speed, voltage, oil pressure, water temperature and all are surrounded by more faux carbon fiber. Under those gauges, the black dash houses switches for the Vintage Air A/C system and is very clean, so are the door panels that feature custom billet inserts in the handle tray. It all wraps up with a sporty 3 spoke Grant GT steering wheel.
Things get really wild when you lift the hood on this great looking F2. Power comes from a supercharged 406 cubic inch engine that is good for 500 horsepower! Go fast goodies include the obvious B&M supercharger unite, MSD ignition, Demon carburetor and after market headers. The engine bay looks very clean with a smoothed firewall, strategically routed hoses, tucked wires, and a nicely installed air conditioning unit. The small block feeds power to a Tremec 5-speed manual transmission which turns a 10 bolt posi-traction rear end with 3.73 gears. Underneath, things are practical and functional with tubular control arms and 4 wheel disc brakes keeping the 245/45/17 front and 295/40/18 rear Falken Azenis tires in check.
This car is not for the faint of heart. With around 500 force fed ponies on tap, this 1973 Camaro will handle most modern day sports cars in a drag strip battle. It looks mean and sounds even meaner! This is your chance to own a well built F2 retro-mod that aims to please. Call today!
