403 CID, RAGTOP, VERY NICE CRUISER, CLASSIC BIG CAR LOOK, ENJOY THE WIND!!

This classic 1975 LeSabre ragtop represents the last of Buick's full-sized, rear-wheel-drive land yachts. With the wind in your hair and a smooth V8 under the hood, it will redefine the way you spend your summer.

Many enthusiasts find the '70s Buick convertibles to be more stylish than their Chevy and Oldsmobile brothers, with clean body design and that dramatic crease running from nose to tail, a Buick hallmark. No cheesy fender skirts, either, although portholes have never gone out of style. Starting with a rust-free southern car, this one recently got a coat of 2008 Chrysler Red Pearl paint that looks sizzling on the vintage cruiser, and unlike many modern paints, looks surprisingly authentic. There's a notable lack of chrome and brightwork, which is surprising for both Buick and the 1970s, which only serves to give it a timeless look today. The bodywork is devoid of dings and ripples, details like the grille and heavy chrome bumpers remain in good condition, although the rear bumper is missing its rubber trim, something easily acquired from several vendors.

The red vinyl interior is in good condition given its age and the fact that it has lived its life in a convertible. Wide bench ... Please ask for the full description.

Wide bench seats fore and aft make this a true 6-passenger luxury cruiser and as a Buick, every power amenity was standard equipment: power windows, power locks, A/C, a tilt wheel, and a power front seat. The gauges are limited to a brushed-stainless speedometer and fuel gauge, but you'll also note that this car has the cool speed minder system, an adjustable needle that sounds an alarm when you exceed the pre-set speed limit. Excellent carpets fore and aft are protected by a set of floor mats and the original door panels are in decent condition with age-appropriate wear. A Sony AM/FM/cassette stereo has been installed in the original dash location, and a handsome tan convertible top with glass window has been recently installed.

The engine bay is shockingly clean, and you'll be more than pleased with the solid performance of the engine. The A/C system has been upgraded to R134a refrigerant, while a relatively recent alternator delivers the juice. Of course, power brakes and steering are included, and the pillowy soft ride of the full-sized Buick has to be experienced to be believed-this car cruises effortlessly and ignores bumps like a hovercraft. There's a heavy-duty TH400 3-speed automatic transmission feeding a 10-bolt, which features long-legged gears for easy cruising. A newer dual exhaust system sounds appropriately subdued and it wears fresh whitewall radials on original Buick Rallye wheels.

1975 was the last of the full-sized Buick ragtops, making this one highly collectable today. Call now!
