SAME OWNER SINCE 1962, RARE MORGAN, RECENT RESTORATION, DOCUMENTATION, COLLECTOR

Owning a Morgan is all about enjoying fine craftsmanship built in the traditional way. It makes for exceptional cars with discriminating rarity. And there have been the correct major investments in this 1958 Morgan Plus 4 Roadster to keep it a true solid driver's classic. So if you have a favorite road, this Morgan should be the best way to celebrate it.

Morgans have a timeless sense of style. The sweeping fenders, pontoon headlights, rear-mounted spare tire, and ash wood frame - it is often hard to tell the difference between a Plus 4 roadster built today and one that's over a half-century old. Of course, a timeless appearance is also aided by the right investments. This retains its classic hand-formed steel body, but the red paint was traded in later for one of Morgan's shades of yellow. This was part of a 12-year resonation process, and it was a labor of love considering the consignor has had this car since 1962. Oh yes, this one has been with the same owner for all but four years! The paint was a thoughtful upgrade, and you know this by the glow of the finish. Plus, there's a well-coordinated black giving a tasteful contrast on the roof, side curtains, fender rubber strips, ... Please ask for the full description.

Plus, there's a well-coordinated black giving a tasteful contrast on the roof, side curtains, fender rubber strips, hood strap, and even the spare wheel holder integrated into the body design.

Of course, a Morgan was meant to be open to the world, and so you get the same nice black contrast from the full black interior. And this continues to look quite good after a new interior was installed in 2013. The seats have the classic British look with a shared back and individual bottoms. Morgans are a great lesson in purist motoring, and so nothing gets in the way of enjoying the old-world driving experience. You sit behind a proper Bluemel Brooklands steering wheel and look out over a dash made or real wood. You get a full set of Smiths gauges and the shifter is in that perfect British position that feels like it's an extension of your right arm. There's even a racing-style tonneau that comes with the sale for those who like taking this out even in cooler weather.

Under the hood (bonnet) is a 1991cc motor borrowed from the triumph TR3. This engine is known for its legendary pep, especially with the twin SU carburetors attached. Best of all, the more mass-produced motor means maintenance is easy on your rare bespoke Morgan. In fact, this one was even rebuilt in 2017. The driving experience is maximized as you row through the gears of the four-speed transmission and get the most out of this four-cylinder. Your senses will go into overload as the wind whips through the interior, and you help create the wonderful soundtrack from the motor. It gives you an instant connection to this classic machine that makes Morgans one of the most enthusiast-driven brands out there.

The sale come complete with the owner's manual, maintenance records, service manuals, build receipts, and restoration photos. This is the old-world classic that has spent nearly all its life under the same owner. That's the exact kind of story we all want on our classics, but there's only one up for grabs. So hurry up and call today!
