How big an icon is the 1934 Ford 3-window coupe? How about the fact that next to the Shelby Cobra, it's the most reproduced shape in the entire automotive kingdom. The body is by Street Beasts, and they've been in the business longer than almost anyone. As a result, cars like this '34 coupe are solid, well-built, and sturdy rods and with a bit of labor and some time, they turn into awesome-looking machines. Full fenders, a lightly chopped top, and suicide doors give it a classic hot rod look, and the paint was finished about two years ago so it looks fantastic today. With the easy way fiberglass works, it's easy to get dazzling results like this, and the two-stage urethane has a shine that offers almost impossible depth and an inner glow. Traditional pinstripes laid down by hall-of-famer Jay C highlight the Ford's curves and give it an old-school rod look. Correct 1934 bumpers with the dip in the center, a shiny chrome grille, King Bee headlights, and '39 Ford taillights deliver the custom details that gets cars noticed, and running boards covered with spray-on bedliner material are a practical yet attractive solution to rubber mats.
Interiors don't have to use exotic materials and flashy colors to be dramatic, as the black cloth guts of this '34 Ford so ably demonstrate. Twin Mustang buckets are nicely bolstered, then wrapped in fabric stitched into a traditional pattern that's repeated on the door panels. You'll also note while those suicide doors are open that the two-tone paint wraps around the door jambs, and that power windows are part of the package. Other comfort-aiding accessories include A/C, a tilt column with a custom wooden wheel, and an AM/FM/CD stereo system that sounds fantastic. The dash is full of Dolphin white-faced gauges, the Vintage Air HVAC controls are tucked out of sight under the dash, and there's a trick B&M shifter in the center. Open the rear deck and you'll find a neatly finished trunk with plenty of storage space that's perfect for road trips.
Reliability and performance are the keys to enjoying your rod, so this one sports a 351 cubic inch Ford Windsor V8. Dressed with gorgeous finned aluminum Mickey Thompson valve covers, polished accessories, and enhanced with an aluminum intake and Davis Unified Ignition system, it looks as good as it runs. It's a sweet runner, no doubt aided by the automatic transmission and an 8.8-inch Ford rear axle with 3.55 gears inside. Up front, there's a Mustang II suspension with rack-and-pinion steering to give it modern ride and handling, not to mention power disc brakes, while the rear is a familiar Mustang 4-link. A custom exhaust with ceramic coated headers sounds spectacular and uses cool outlets just ahead of the rear fenders. Finally, that perfect rake is enhanced by shiny Torque Thrust wheels wearing 195/65/14 front and 255/60/15 rear tires.
With just 441 miles on a fresh build, this beautiful '34 Ford coupe is contemporary, fully sorted, and ready to rock. Call today!
