It's hard to go wrong with certain cars. A '69 Camaro is always cool, and this one's a true factory Hugger Orange on black car. It's got a 350 V8, a four speed manual, and all of the accessories you could ask for. A great restoration you can just get in, drive, and arrive in style!
Outside, you'll find VERY little to complain about. The code 72 orange paint looks fairly new and shines just as you'd expect for a cruise and show car. The bodywork was done well, and the sides are very straight. The black vinyl top was a great option choice back in '69 considering how overpowering Hugger Orange can be alone. There's a steel cowl induction hood, and moving forward you're greeted by the elastomeric front bumper and great looking chin spoiler. The classic hockey stick stripes, along with SS badging, and the trunk spoiler is something Chevy should have made mandatory. Correct trim is everywhere from the quarters to the rockers to the wheel wells, and it's all in great shape. The stance is just right, and the chrome pieces were replaced after the paint went down. You'll turn heads with this car for sure!

Inside, you'll find the original bucket seats, properly wrapped in code 711 black, per the cowl tag. For additional comfort you'll find a nice touch with an upholstered center console and two cup holders, very convenient! A classic Rally steering wheel handles the curves as you run through the gears with the chrome Hurst shifter on floor. An additional Auto Gauge tach sits prominently on the steering column while a trio of Auto Meter gauges resides under the dash in front of the shifter to keep tabs on essentials. A modern AM/FM/cassette stereo is in its proper place below the heater controls and the dash pad is in great shape, as are the door panels and the rest of the trim in the interior.
Under the hood is some serious motivation. It's a 350 wearing a set of Edelbrock E-Street aluminum cylinder heads, an Edelbrock intake and a Summit Racing 650 CFM four-barrel carb. As a nod to the L89 cars, this engine's perfomance intake and heads are cast aluminum while Chevrolet Performance valve covers are covered in orange. There's a chrome Chevy air cleaner proudly displaying the 350 V8 sticker, again a tip of the cap to history. Interestingly, period correct exhaust manifolds are in the place. An HEI distributor provides the sparks while new hoses and a newer radiator take care of cooling duties. The power steering and power disc brakes mean that driving is almost effortless. A dual exhaust system features Dynomax mufflers for a great rumble. A newer clutch in the blowproof bellhousing sends power back through a Muncie four speed and on to a 12-bolt hanging out back. A set of 14x7 Rallye wheels wearing trim rings, center caps and BFGoodrich 225/70/14 tires finishes off the look.
This is a car that's well sorted, and has a great look. If you are looking for a great restoration on a high end first generation that you can enjoy, dont wait. At this price, you wont find another one as nice. Call today!!
