This is the unassuming nice guy that's got the ability to beat everyone up. On the outside, it looks like a shining Impala dressed in a dignified blue. Inside is a nice recent investment with a very period-correct look. What they don't see is the performance small block and four-wheel disc brakes beneath the skin. That makes this the perfect cool cruiser that gives you better power and control.
This shade of bright light blue is exactly how you remember car were in the '60s. It just has that perfect tone of metallic flair mixed with a cheery hue. An as you look over the derails of the body it has all the signs of a well-respected and fundamentally original classic. Impala coupes are highly collectable because the wide chrome grille up front and the broad six taillight arrangement are both icons of the 60s. But despite this brightwork, these cars are not as chrome heavy as other full-size coupes that had come before them, which makes each piece an appreciated styling touch. It's especially true on this car where the bumpers have a mirror-like shine and all the trim looks newer. We especially love the full-length sweeping side accent that keeps this car pointing forward. When you combine that with the racing flag emblems on the fender and the polished 15-inch torque thrust style wheels, you soon pick up on some hints about the beast within (more on that in a moment.)
They made a solid investment to give this a fresh interior that also looks quite period correct – right down to the button-top seating. And the shade of blue inside mixes with the exterior color to give you a spectrum that makes this whole car have the appeal of ocean water. There's plenty of room for manly and friends in this hardtop, but it's also just as fun to cruise solo. Sitting behind the wheel feels like time warp with the proper Impala center cap on the highly stylized rim. Plus, the wide speedometer is a great hallmark of the era. It's the ideal vintage atmosphere.
One twist of the key, and no one will believe this is a mild-mannered classic. The rumble of the dual exhaust gives its performance nature away instantly. Under the hood is a 350 cubic-inch V8. It looks great with the finned valve covers, matching air topper, shining alternator, and upgraded pulleys. More importantly, it has performance upgrades like a Holley performance four-barrel carburetor, aluminum radiator w/electric fan, and ceramic-coated headers. So while this looks like a comfortable Impala on the outside, the beast under the hood means the factory SS cars will only see your taillights. And more than pure power, this is a great all around driver with features like power steering, a three-speed automatic transmission, and the upgrade to four-wheel disc brakes.
A true blue presentation that masks the stout V8 heart underneath. This is exactly how you want your classic Impala to be, and it can all be yours if you're quick enough to grab this deal. Call today!!!
