WICKED TOY HAULER, 454 V8, TH400, PS, PB W/DISCS, AC, BEAUTIFULLY RESTORED TRUCK

This is the kind of truck that instantly gets your mind working. You just know you'll be the only one to show up in a 1946 Chevrolet COE (Cab Over Engine) ramp truck. With upgraded big block power and tall exhaust stacks, this one can steal the show no matter what you have on the back.

People are going to marvel at a truck like this. After all, in 1946, this was the kind of industrial machine that got us moving again immediately after WWII. And now this rare surviving example is getting the respect it deserves by being the largest toy in the toy box. This absolutely looks beefy today thanks to the glossy black that makes you take notice of the tall cab design. The details are even great with the black sun visor, amber roof lights, and red pinstriping that matches the badging. More than just the most intimidating machine out there, this one is attractive for all its brightwork, too. But even the shine has function – like on the side steps and industrial-style 8-lug wheel with dually in the rear. Plus, there's all that diamond plating on the rear ramp, and it lowers so that you can transport your classic using this classic. Even with all of this, we know the shiny piece you'll love ...

Even with all of this, we know the shiny piece you'll love the best are those tall exhaust stacks.

The red pinstriping on the outside was also a preview of the interior. Plus, with the glossy black dash, and black on high-traffic areas like the carpeting and armrests, this has a nice uniform look inside and out. The bouncy '40s-style seat has been replaced with twin buckets that offer far more comfort in this long-haul machine. Other upgrades include the large steering wheel being swapped for a grippy Lecarra three-spoke unit; there's an AM/FM/CD stereo; and the original gauge pack has been replaced by a crisp setup that includes an important Moon tach on the dash. There is even air condition if you want long haul comfort. But even with all these improvements, it never spoils the vintage appearance or atmosphere.

As the COE name suggests, the motor sits under the cab, which contributes to the commanding height and added capabilities. In fact, this one really is still ready to go to work thanks to an upgrade in the engine compartment. This classic heavy duty machine is now running a 454 cubic-inch big block V8. Plus, the large motor inhales deeply with a Holley four-barrel carburetor, and it exhales freely with headers feeling those smoke stacks. All the belts, wires, and hoses look properly maintained, and there's even an electric fan in front of the radiator. So this was built to get to work. And unlike how this came in 1946, you have the added comfort of a strong TH400 three-speed automatic transmission, power steering, and power brakes w/discs up front.

So no matter if you have something special to haul or just want to be the biggest/baddest classic all on your own, this rare classic Chevy hauler is a unique treat that's going to be memorable everywhere it goes. So don't miss your chance, call today!
