Marti Report |
Talk about a practical muscle car! This 1969 Ford Ranchero delivers on every count: V8 power, cool Calypso Coral paint, and nobody can argue that it isn't useful to have around the house. Ford's truck/car hits all the right notes, including a reasonable price tag.
Both the trim tag and the Marti Report confirm that this car was originally painted Calypso Coral, a very cool color that's also very rare for the Ranchero. Fortunately, it looks right at home on the '60s sheetmetal, because Ford performance cars wore it extremely well. And although the paint job is several years old, it looks flat-out spectacular on the Ranchero's bodywork, with decent prep and a nice shine that glows in the sunlight. The blacked-out hood treatment helps add to the '60s performance vibe, and with a 351 under the hood, this car's performance is not limited to just a decal package. The trim is all in good condition, suggesting that the car has always been well-maintained and with a few issues that only prove it's original stuff. It also appears that this Ranchero is no stranger to working for a living, so the bed now sports a heavy-duty mat and a set of bed rails that will prove more useful than you think.
