FULLY RESTORED SHOW QUALITY 4X4, BLACK OVER BLACK, WINDOW STICKER, OWNERS MANUAL

If you're like us, you're starting to see a lot of nicely restored K10's out there, but we think you'll be hard-pressed to find one anywhere near as nice as this. See, while most are just nicely preserved originals or slick customs, this 1987 K10 4x4 is simply a brand new truck. Treated to a complete frame-off restoration in 2007 to show standards, it's like walking into a Chevy showroom and taking home a new truck home. Well, not quite - this one is almost certainly nicer than it would have ever been new. Did we mention it comes loaded with documentation? Looking at it like that, it sure makes this one look like a bargain compared to the new ones, doesn't it?

When you're doing a ground-up, body-off restoration, there are things you can and can't do. You can pick a color that you prefer, so this truck got a brilliant coat of black that always looks right on these Rounded-Line pickups. You can make the bodywork better than new in every way, and assemble it with vastly more care than they could on an assembly line where a thousand trucks might have passed by each day. And you can give it upgrades like the chrome bed rails, bright bumper guards, and upscale Silverado trim. To build the best ... Please ask for the full description.

To build the best and to make it look absolutely and totally convincing in every way, you need to commit to doing it right, and that's exactly what happened here. This truck is simply off-the-charts nice in every way that the factory could measure.

Inside, the black bench seat is covered in black fabric that was a step up over the standard sticky vinyl. Black carpets and a matching set of door panels were fitted, and the original dash was restored. The gauges are in great shape, and this one is also loaded with options including A/C, a tilt wheel, cruise control, power windows and locks, and an AM/FM/cassette stereo. It looks absolutely new inside, with very few signs of use, so it's still ready to compete. A sliding rear window is always a treat in a pickup truck, and along with the vent windows, it almost makes the ice cold A/C redundant. Almost.

The engine is a 350 cubic inch V8, and not some crate motor with an Edelbrock carb, but a completely rebuilt, as-the-factory-intended TBI fuel-injected engine. From the original air cleaner to the stamped steel oil pan, this is just how GM was building trucks in 1987. The only giveaways are the chrome valve covers and the bright red plug wires, but otherwise it's going to look awfully familiar to the guys down at Mr. Goodwrench. It's backed by a stock 700R4 4-speed automatic, 2-speed transfer case, and heavy-duty axles at both ends. A stock style exhaust system, complete with correct catalytic converter, has been fitted, along with new shocks. Stock Rally wheels wear slightly oversized 32x11.5-15 BFGoodrich off-road radials, but the originals are available if you want them.

A brand new 1987 K10 4x4. If you've been wanting one, they don't get much fresher than this. Call today!
