M EDITION MX-5, ONLY 39K ORIGINAL MILES, ONE OWNER, JACKSON RACING SUPERCHARGED

A “modern classic” at its finest, this 1-owner 1995 Mazda Miata features an amazingly low 33,930 miles on the clock. That's right, less than 1,500 miles a year have been logged on what is likely the funnest little roadster to have been produced in the last 30 years. How did the owner contain himself? Well, it wasn't all an exercise in moderation and restraint, as he did stuff a Jackson Racing supercharger in the engine bay, tune it just right, and kept the original BBS alloys which looked great on these cars. Every human being that's ever driven a Miata was left with a smile on their face (it's an undeniable fact, check the pulse of anyone who disagrees), and with the increased power and improved handling inside this '95, the joy elicited is almost uncontrollable. My goodness, I absolutely love this car.

Mazda called this color Merlot Mica, and it's a stunning hue that we all love on this cool roadster. The factory paint retains a showroom shine, and that's what really gets us excited about this Miata. Just like the muscle cars out there, these roadsters have typically been chopped up and altered because they are so much fun on the racetrack and backroads. So to find one that has not ... M EDITION MX-5, ONLY 39K ORIGINAL MILES, ONE OWNER, JACKSON RACING SUPERCHARGED

A "modern classic" at its finest, this 1-owner 1995 Mazda Miata features an amazingly low 33,930 miles on the clock.

So to find one that has not been tainted or harmed all its life is a true gem, with the only additions being the mesh grille inside the "smile" valance up front and a fat Jackson Racing exhaust tip. It retains the svelte proportions that make these a spiritual successor to the best Europe had to offer, with M-Edition badges discreetly added at the factory to let everyone know that this was a top-of-the-line car. The body is precision straight, just how the Japanese made it, the wheels have stayed away from the curbs (that's a god thing, BBS wheel are very pricey these days), and the overall presentation is slick enough that the car can be entered in any show that will have it. When we put the tan folding roof up for the pictures that might have been the first time it was raised in years, and fits neatly over the roll bar inside the cabin. This Miata has always been under the best garage care, and it really shows, this is a stunning little car.

The leather interior is just as beautiful as the exterior, and it also feels fresh and incredibly well cared for. A pair of tan leather buckets have the kind of comfort and bolstering that lets you know every inch of this car was expertly engineered, and even though they show very minor signs of use (as do the carpets), it's certainly limited to the high-traffic areas but still presents great. Options in this M-Edition droptop were plentiful, featuring dual air bags, ABS, cruise control, power windows, power mirrors, a power antenna, and cold A/C, which means the comfort level is super high inside this 2-seaters. You also get a grippy leather-wrapped steering wheel, an Alpine AM/FM/CD/AUX/Bluetooth head unit, and a roll bar behind the seats in case you want to go have some fun at a track day. Beyond that is a full gauge pack with clear markings and even a touch of chrome around the instruments, and the leather-wrapped short shifter is an easy reach for the driver. Out back the trunk is surprisingly spacious, yet another design feature that makes these cars so beloved, and it contains an original spare and jack.

Even if you buy this Miata as a survivor to show off the ultra-low mileage, it will be tough to resist adding a few more digits onto the odometer, especially with all that extra horsepower that's now under the hood. The first-generation Miata was all about the purity of the driving experience, but where they lacked was in the power department. To some that was part of the charm, but to others, the perfect balance and 50/50 weight distribution of the design just begs for a little more pop from the powertrain. With that in mind, the 1.8-liter DOHC fuel-injected motor was augmented with a Jackson Racing MP-45 supercharger and a piggyback ECU bypass that were precision engineered to rev freely and sound great doing it, all while providing a huge boost in power for this little car. It's everything you love about the classic European driving experience, bulletproof Japanese reliability, and modern tuner tricks that take it over the top. The sport-tuned suspension was augmented with Jackson Racing sway bars and along with power four-wheel disc brakes and power steering are part of a harmonious package that makes the car feel like an extension of you as it instantly reacts to the road. A big Mishimoto and high-cap fans keep the Miata nice and cool, the 5-speed manual transmission shifts smoothly, and the Jackson Racing cat-back exhaust sets a great soundtrack. Finishing off the look, the roadster sits on slick 15-inch BBS aluminum wheels wrapped in 205/50/15 performance radials that provide plenty of grip.

Beautiful paint, slick interior, and a beefed-up motor...There's no other highly detailed "modern classic" for this kind of money. It even comes with the original window sticker and owner's manuals to keep it a thoroughbred show car well into the future. It will be a tough decision whether to really drive this roadster or keep its mileage so amazing low. But don't take too long deciding, because you may never find a low-mileage Miata this dialed-in ever again. Call today!!!
