You already know this 1967 Chevrolet Camaro Rally Sport is far from stock. It looks amazing from every angle – which is a shame that most people will only see the taillights of this enhanced four-speed, 454 big block V8 coupe.
This is a real-deal 3L Rally Sport. So that blacked-out hidden headlight front panel that looks like it wants to consume the road ahead absolutely belongs here. This coordinates nicely with the other darker elements like the SS stripe on the hood and blacked-out rear panel to instantly give this Camaro some attitude. But while those are vintage elements you love, this one has been quite thoroughly upgraded. Some additions are a bit subtler than others. For example, the newer application of Copper Metallic has a terrific clearcoat shine that does a terrific job of highlight the iconic sheetmetal's curves. But you might find this look to be very vintage, because the newer paint has a similar appearance to the '68 Camaro's Corvette Bronze. Other upgrades are quite a bit more obvious. After all, those 17-inch Ridler alloys add some serious shine. And no Camaro ever received something as bold as a lightweight fiberglass Stinger hood (although it's a nice hint at ... After all, those 17-inch Ridler alloys add some serious shine. And no Camaro ever received something as bold as a lightweight fiberglass Stinger hood (although it's a nice hint at the upgraded power underneath.)
The black accents of the exterior are a nice gateway to the black interior. The seats, carpets, door panels, and much more feel quite fresh from investment. As much as this is a custom build, it did come from the factory as a four-speed center console car, and so there are hints of its originality in interesting places like the factory AM radio that's still on display. There's even the rare folding rear seat. But when it comes to getting down to business, this Camaro doesn't disappoint. The grippy three-spoke steering wheel, factory tach, auxiliary gauges, and Hurst cue ball shifter all let you know there is some serious power to enjoy.
This might say 427 on the exterior, but under the hood is an even larger big block. This 454 cubic-inch V8 was built with all the goodies you would want, including a Holley four-barrel carburetor, Weiand Street Warrior aluminum intake, aluminum pulleys, and long tube headers that feed a growling dual exhaust. Plus, those in the know will love the Motion valve covers – they'll be Chevy enthusiasts pointing those out at every show! But more than just street-eating power, this big block is backed up by reliable component such as a Mallory electronic ignition system and an aluminum radiator. Plus, you have complete control over this total power package thanks to the four-speed manual transmission, traction bars, front disc brakes, and the modern performance tires.
Distinct, iconic, and oh so powerful – this is a standout Camaro that you've been waiting for. So don't let it slip away, call today!
