The carpets are plush and barely looks stepped on, and the leather and tweed door panels are slick and the lower tweed panels match the design of the custom headliner. A GM 350 cubic inch LT1 V8 lives under the Plymouth's pointed nose and once you get over your Chevy-in-a-Mopar fixation, you'll realize it's an awesome choice. Reliable, powerful, and easy to service, this rod is built to drive. You also won't be ashamed to open that louvered hood, because there are custom valve covers that look amazing, neat, clean wiring, and lots of chrome pieces to make it stand out against the red car. Little things suggest the builder went the extra mile, like the smoothed firewall and the headers that tuck in tight to the block. A THM 700R4 automatic transmission feeds a 10-inch rear end, and while everything was beautifully painted/chromed and highly detailed underneath, you can see that this one was built to drive, not just sit on a trailer. A power rack-and-pinion front suspension with coilovers works with trailing arms out back, and it includes power disc brakes up front for safety. Gorgeous Boyd Coddington chrome wheels keep the slick hot rod look and allow it to wear staggered 215/45/17 front and 255/55/17 rear performance radials for the perfect stance.
