When everyone sees you driving this 1929 Chevrolet sedan, they'll assume you're one of those people who can really rough it with a 86-year-old car. Little do they know you've got every convenience from Air Conditioning, to an iPod stereo.

By the end of the 1920s Chevrolet had surpassed Ford in sales, and that's because these cars delivered what the customers wanted. So while this Teal Blue Metallic and silver stripe paint isn't exactly what General Motor applied nine decades ago, it benefits from a much more modern respray that still keeps the spirit alive of what made this colorful Chevy so popular when new. The restoration photos that are included hint at very similar colors early in this sedans life. The black fenders look great, and they add the perfect separation to allow the coordinating shade of blue on the wire wheels to really standout.

While it all looks like the perfect period-correct sedan on the outside, this one has been customized like no other genuine 1920s car we've seen before, and it seems to be done right! The upgraded two-tone leather seating is a nice touch, especially with the matching door panels and custom embroidery on the rear seat. You can see the ... Please ask for the full description.

You can see the steering wheel looks period-correct, but now the gauges have been upgraded to a full easy-to-read AutoMeter setup. There's even a modern AM/FM stereo that has an auxiliary hookup for you most modern tunes. When we say it's a cool car, we literally mean it. This Chevy is running an ice cold air conditioning that utilizes modern R-134a for easy servicing. Yes, this 1929 car can be fully climate controlled!

Chevrolet's now-famous "Stovebolt" six was first introduced this model year, and it produced a rather smooth 46-50 horsepower from just 194 cubic inches. A nice upgrade to have over the previous years engines. The engine's appearance should be familiar to anyone who has owned a six-cylinder Chevy, even the early updraft carburetor is still in place. But, now it's been adapted to accept many more modern components so that the interior upgrades are reliable and worry-free. The 12 volt system is a positive for sure. The motor starts easily and runs far more smoothly than you'd expect from something whose age can be described in generations. It should cruise happily at 50 MPH for easy touring, especially mated to the standard three-speed manual transmission. The leaf-spring suspension with rigid axles at both ends has that classic bounce in its step, which makes you feel connected with a time gone by when roads were a little rougher, and cars needed to be built robustly.

This Chevy is amazingly authentic on the outside and exceptionally comfortable on the inside. It even merges these two worlds nicely by including the original owner's manual, as well as restoration photos that brought this 1929 sedan into the modern age. Now you can be the talk of every car show for a bargain. Call today!!
